Job Description
Assembler / Welder-Fabricator •Pay negotiable based on experience •We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Assembler / Welder-Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, fabrication, assembly, or carpentry, and be comfortable working with hand and power tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position combines final product assembly, metal fabrication, welding, and general shop support duties to help produce high-quality finished products. The right candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works safely and efficiently, and is willing to assist wherever needed to support the team and production goals. Key Responsibilities Perform final assembly of products prior to shipment MIG weld and fabricate components using mild steel, 304 stainless steel, and 316L stainless steel Install trim, panels, and finish components with precision and attention to detail Assemble chassis components including wheels, braking systems, and related hardware Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions Measure accurately using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers Operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Construct wooden shipping crates for safe product transportation Assist with loading, strapping, and transporting products using trucks, trailers, and forklifts Maintain quality standards throughout fabrication and assembly processes Follow ASME codes, company procedures, and all workplace safety standards Support additional shop operations and assist team members as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications Previous experience in welding, fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or manufacturing preferred Proficiency in MIG welding required Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Familiarity with fabrication and machining processes is a plus Ability to accurately read measurements to within 1/16" of an inch Forklift experience is preferred but not required Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment Schedule Full-time position Four-day work week Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (10-hour shifts) Pay Starting wage begins at $23/hour Higher starting wages may be negotiated based on experience, skills, and qualifications Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Health savings account (HSA) Paid time off (PTO) Join our team and help build quality products in a supportive, hands-on work environment where craftsmanship and teamwork matter.
