1st Shift Sensor Assembler & Laser Welder

Sensor Assembler/Laser Welder We have the following opportunity available: An assembler with laser welding experience. This person would assemble wires and operate laser welding equipment to weld components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality requirements. They will set up and adjust welding parameters, loads and unloads parts, performs visual inspections, and verifies weld quality. Maintains a safe and organized work area, records production data, and assists with routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Works closely with engineering and quality teams to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements. 1st Shift -

Days:

Mon-Thurs, 9 hrs; Fridays-4hrs Reports directly to Assembly Supervisor. Key Duties Interpreting print and engineering drawings Heavy use of microscope, wire cutters/strippers, multi-meter for insulation resistance Soldering Potting with pneumatic dispenser Prepping of cables and wires Data collection of tested product Communicating timelines and schedules with cross-functional groups Cleans work area consistently Resistant/Laser welding Inspect parts and welds for quality and conformance This position operates in a machine shop environment
