Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Metal Decking Assemblers to join our client's manufacturing crew. This role involves hands-on assembly of metal components and requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to follow written instructions. Assemblers will learn product variations and contribute to delivering high-quality finished products that meet client standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate hand tools that require physical strength and precision. Follow written instructions to complete assigned tasks. Learn different product variations with careful attention to final assembly quality.
Qualifications:
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 75 lbs. Capable of standing and bending for a full 8-hour shift. Familiarity with basic manufacturing power tools (impact drill, hand drill, angle grinder, miter saw, palm sander, etc.). Reliable transportation to and from the job site. Ability to successfully complete customer-administered tests including tape measure reading, math (including fractions), and blueprint reading. Strong attention to detail and ability to take direction from supervisors. Must wear steel toe boots.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift and carry 100+ lbs occasionally (team lifts). Extended periods of standing and bending during an 8-hour shift.
