We are looking for reliable individuals to join two different leading manufacturing teams in Duluth specializing in high-quality electronic components. These roles range from assembling high-reliability power supplies and space-grade components to precision avionics. If you take pride in precision and want a steady weekday schedule, this is the perfect opportunity to grow your technical career! Company 1: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. ... Company 2: $17.77 per hour.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Enjoy 3-day weekends!)
What You'll Do Precision Assembly:
Build electrical components using hand tools, standard techniques, and process instructions.
Technical Testing:
Perform high-level testing and environmental stress screenings (thermal, vibration, and vacuum) to ensure product durability.
Quality & Repair:
Identify defective materials, analyze malfunctions in field returns, and execute precision repairs.
Advanced Techniques:
Conduct crimping, tinning, and soldering to maintain strict military and aerospace quality standards.
Collaborative Improvement:
Assist engineering teams with new test fixtures and assembly workflows while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
What We're Looking For Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
At least 6 months of continuous work experience with one employer.
Technical Skills:
Ability to read a ruler, use measuring tools, and perform basic math (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing).
Physical Dexterity:
Excellent hand-eye coordination for manipulating small components and the ability to lift up to 25???50 lbs regularly.
Vision:
Good close-up and color vision to ensure accuracy in wiring and assembly.
Reliability:
A strong work ethic and a desire to follow safety procedures and production schedules. Bonus Points (Preferred)
Soldering:
Prior experience soldering on PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards).
Industry Knowledge:
1-2 years of related experience in a technical assembly field.
