Job Title:
Cabinet Production Specialist Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Cabinet Production Specialist, where you'll play a critical role in the final assembly of high-end retail store displays. You will utilize hand tools such as drills, handheld routers, and air nail guns to integrate materials like plastics, metals, and electronics into our meticulously crafted displays. You will work from blueprints, ensuring precision by reading measurements as fine as 1/16 inch. Responsibilities Match materials for color, grain, or texture. Trim component parts of joints to ensure a snug fit. Make holes for insertion of screws or dowels. Use glue, fits, and clamps to perform complete unit assembly. Drive nails or other fasteners into joints at designated places to reinforce joints. Sand and scrape surfaces for finishing. Install hardware such as hinges and drawer handles. Essential Skills Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Experience with woodworking, cabinet assembly, and mechanical assembly. Competence in using hand tools and power tools, including saws and tape measures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting with 1-2 other people. Experience in cabinet making/building is ideal but not necessary. High level of mechanical aptitude with 2 years of experience utilizing blueprints, hand and power tools, and mechanical troubleshooting. Must pass a tape measure test. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a clean, well-lit, and organized space that is air-conditioned and humidity-controlled. Our primary shift is from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with the possibility of working up to 10 hours of overtime a week and occasional Saturdays from 6:00 am to 11:00 am. If a second shift is needed, hours are Monday-Thursday from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am, with overtime on Fridays. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
