July 2020 Located in the Gallitan Valley/Bozeman-Belgrade area: 1.
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Under the direct supervision of the Production Manager, efficiently performs entry level assembly operations. Fully proficient on two job skills. Monitors quality of materials received and performs basic quality checks on final product. 2.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives parts and materials for assigned assembly activity. Reviews and ensures quality of parts and materials received prior to performing assembly activities. Loads assembly machines and follows work instructions to complete assigned activity. May use tools and other instruments to complete the assembly process. Makes adjustments to assembly machines to ensure product meets specifications. Performs a basic visual inspection of the final product. May conduct manual tests to verify quality. Reports and describes errors or problems to supervisor or lead. Keeps tools, equipment and work area clean and organized. Follows department safety rules and operating procedures. Responsible for supporting and adhering to company policies and procedures. 3.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned. 4.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Position typically requires a minimum of 1 years of general manufacturing or other work experience. Proven track record of solid work history preferred. Basic knowledge of archery terms preferred. Experience using hand and power tools preferred. Requires good oral communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal work instructions. Must be able to read and understand written materials to follow equipment, production and safety procedures and requirements. Requires basic math skills, including addition and subtraction. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision. Requires ability to be punctual and dependable. Must be able to work in a team environment and produce results in conjunction with fellow team members. 5.
PHYSICAL DEMAND A.
The physical effort typically applied in this job includes: Lifting, Pulling, Reaching, Sitting, Standing, Walking, Requires ability to distinguish between colors. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs 6.
MENTAL OR VISUAL DEMAND
Continuous mental and/or visual attention; the work is either repetitive or diversified requiring constant alertness to monitor the production process and/or identify defects. 7.
