Extension Job Summary:
Overview Join a hands-on manufacturing team as a Component Assembler (Light Mechanical) where you'll complete simple, repeatable assembly operations of large or medium-sized components —without the use of machinery. This role is ideal for detail-focused individuals who enjoy building with their hands, following clear instructions, and delivering consistent results every shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble components using hand and power tools. Follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions. Perform quality checks and product testing. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work at multiple stations as needed. Support production goals while adhering to safety standards.
Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience. Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments. Strong mechanical aptitude. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work overtime and weekends when required. Preferred Skills Familiarity with mechanical assembly or light mechanical work Experience reading blueprints, schematics, or layout drawings (beneficial, not required) Prior exposure to manufacturing, production, or warehouse-style assembly environments.
