Job Title:

Assembler I Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Assembler I to join our team, where you will be instrumental in building, testing, and packaging small parts and products. You will follow assembly procedures using handheld tools and medium-sized machines to ensure high-quality standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail, ability to learn and follow repetitive assembly procedures, and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret simple blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to verify assembly process and quality requirements. Take direction from supervisors to understand assembly procedures and production goals. Follow assembly procedures to build parts using hands and small machinery. Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers. Position, align, or adjust workpieces or parts to facilitate assembly. Clean parts using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths. Pack finished parts for shipment, including labeling, bagging, and adding corresponding instruction information. Examine products to verify quality, including Bonnet to Body Testing, identify quality issues, determine causes, and rework parts as necessary. Essential Skills Experience in production or manufacturing. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions. Ability to read calipers and work with micrometers. Skill in using hand tools, power tools, and air tools. Capability to stand for 8 hours a day and lift up to 45 pounds. Ability to perform repeated physical tasks. Manual dexterity for coordinating hand and finger movements. Additional Skills & Qualifications Integrity - Reliability, Responsibility, and Accountability. Working knowledge of English, both oral and written. Ability to perform work in a safe manner. High attention-to-detail with strong vision and hearing. Work Environment The work environment is clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled, ensuring comfort and safety. Employees are expected to work overtime regularly as part of the standard schedule, with shifts available from 5 AM to 3 PM on the first shift and 3 PM to 1 AM on the second shift, Monday through Saturday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elon, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
