Job Description
Frame Builder The Frame Builder is responsible for assembling furniture frames according to company specifications and quality standards. This position requires the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to build durable and accurate furniture frames while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble wood furniture frames according to blueprints, work instructions, and production schedules. Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power equipment safely and efficiently. Measure, cut, fit, and secure frame components to required specifications. Inspect assembled frames for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity. Maintain production standards and meet daily output goals. Report material shortages, defects, and equipment issues to supervisors. Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Assist with other production and assembly tasks as assigned. Qualifications. Previous frame building, furniture manufacturing, woodworking, carpentry, or assembly experience encouraged but not required . Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements accurately. Ability to follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality standards. Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to perform repetitive tasks using hands, wrists, and arms throughout the workday. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment. Work Environment Manufacturing and production facility environment. Fast-paced environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity. Overtime may be required based on production demands.
