Full Job Description Description:
Indigo Signs is a custom sign company that designs, manufactures, installs, and services high quality signs. We are seeking Sign Assembler/Fabricator to join our team of collaborative sign professionals. In this role, you will safely build a wide variety of metal, electrical and nonelectrical signs for our customers. You're a hard-working professional who enjoys building things, prefers variety in their work, likes working indoors and wants a Monday-Friday 1st shift schedule with no weekends. You'll join a team of dedicated Assemblers/Fabricators who are productive, quality focused, resourceful and safety minded. You do not need sign industry experience to be considered for this role. Here are the qualities you bring: You enjoy building things where quality is valued. You like working with a variety of hand and power tools. You take pride in a job well done. You focus on working safely. You're open to learning how signs are built including techniques such as wiring, welding, break-forming and mechanical assembly.
Requirements:
Experience working with a variety of hand and power tools. Ability to lift/carry heavy items with the assistance of a co-worker or using lift equipment. Ability to read and understand technical diagrams. Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time. Experience working in a shop or construction environment is a plus. Welding certification is a plus. Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol test.
