Job Description

Science Kit Assembler (Seasonal)
DUTIES:
Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for part-time seasonal Science Kit Assemblers for June-September 2026. This position is responsible for assisting in the assembly and disassembly of educational science kits used in regional school districts. Additional duties include receiving, storing inventory and other tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma required. Must be physically able to perform job related duties including lifting 40 lbs. and climbing step ladders. Must speak and read English fluently. Must qualify through Civil Service.
CHARACTERISTICS DESIRED
Must be dependable, able to follow directions and complete tasks as required. Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude with flexibility and excellent organizational skills required.
