19 Our client, a leading company in the medical device and women's health industry, is looking to hire an experienced Assembler to join their growing team.
North Tonawanda, NY Schedule:
6:30AM - 3
PM Monday-Friday Pay:
$19/hr
Terms:
Contract (Can extend or convert) Job Description Support the assembly and production of medical devices while ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, GMP standards, and
ISO 13485
quality requirements. This role performs basic assembly operations under close supervision by following approved manufacturing procedures, method sheets, and standard operating procedures to produce high-quality medical devices. Responsibilities Perform basic assembly operations following approved procedures, drawings, and SOPs. Follow product method sheets to complete manufacturing processes accurately. Operate hand tools, fixtures, and light manufacturing equipment as required. Conduct visual inspections to identify obvious defects and ensure product quality. Maintain compliance with
GMP, ISO
13485, and cleanroom standards. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe in accordance with company policies. Complete required production documentation accurately. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals. Participate in training initiatives and continuous improvement activities. Meet established production and performance standards. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 0-1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience required; medical device manufacturing experience preferred. Basic understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes. Experience working in a GMP or regulated manufacturing environment is a plus. Ability to read and follow written instructions, procedures, and SOPs. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing required PPE, including gloves, gowns, masks, and hairnets. Reliable with a strong focus on quality, productivity, and safety. Willingness to learn new manufacturing processes and work in a fast-paced production environment. This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
