Job Description

CONTRACT TO HIRE SCHEDULE
7:30 AM-4
PM SUMMARY:
Assembly Technician role performing cell-based product assembly, inspection, and equipment checks using hand tools and print drawings.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, work instructions, and production travelers Proficiency using common hand tools and measuring devices (e.g., calipers, tape measures, gauges)
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in a cell-based or lean manufacturing environment Experience performing basic equipment checks or minor machine adjustments Familiarity with basic quality inspection techniques for assembled products
Job Responsibilities:
Perform assembly functions in a cell-based work environment using hand tools and measuring devices Read and follow print drawings, work instructions, and production travelers to complete assemblies to specification Conduct visual inspections and basic testing of finished products to verify quality requirements Adhere to safety standards, including proper use of PPE, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and safe lifting practices Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly workstation Perform routine equipment checks and report issues to appropriate personnel
