Job Description

We are growing our metal door manufacturing company and we are interested in hiring multiple people for the metal fabricator and assembler positions.

Essential duties and responsibilities Assemble parts according to product design, bills of materials, and/or drawings (when provided). Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards according to the QC Checklist. Utilize equipment and tools such as a hand held screw gun, drill gun, Riveters and grinders knowledge tape measures, and other hand tool Keep clean and maintain tools, equipment and machines using preventative maintenance methods Maintain inventory of department material levels for manufacturing product(s) Identify product defects and notify management when defects are identified Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Prioritize work flow through effective communication with management staff Maintain a clean and safe work area
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to read a tape measure, use hand tools and drills etc. Ability to work safely in a fast- paced environment producing metal assemblies. Ability to be at work on time on a daily basis. Supportive of change on the shop floor. Experience in metal fabrication and/or assembly a plus Basic reading skills and must be able to follow directions Basic computer navigation and utilization skills preferred Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem High attention to detail and self-motivation skills Work in a team environment and respect all teammates Physical demands and abilities Regularly lift 30-50 pounds Be able to perform repetitive tasks Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately Ability to operate an overhead crane Will train if you do not have experience in metal fabrication. We offer a starting wage based on your specific skills and experience. we also offer voluntary Simple IRA with company match and paid holidays, sick and vacation time. Overtime readily available.
