Assembler/Configurations Technician - 1st shift Job Summary The Assembler plays a vital role in safety and efficiently assembling products according to work instructions and quality standards. Utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, and specialized equipment, the Assembler contributes to the overall manufacturing process and ensures product quality. Major Duties & Responsibilities The assembly of mounted hydraulic products including the installation and tightening of common bolts and hydraulic hoses per provided instructions. The safe operation of a tow motor and overhead crane. Performance of basic diagnostic checks on equipment prior to shipment to pre-determine possible issues, and perform minor repairs. Complete and submit on a timely basis, reports and completed work orders with accurate time allocation. Test and document proper operating parameters. Provide normal maintenance of tools and equipment. Train and assist other technicians as necessary. Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment at all times, and maintain a clean and orderly work space. Maintaining courteous and professional demeanor and communication with customers and internal staff at all times Essential Skills & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of industry-related experience in assembly and testing in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrate product and process knowledge, with the ability to apply it to new techniques. Strong mechanical reasoning and the ability to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment. Ability to interpret blueprints and measuring devices. Requires advanced knowledge of hydraulic, electric system, highly skilled in the use of all hand tools, electric, and air power.
Pay :
$22/hr

All employees are expected to adhere to the company's safety policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves working under extreme hot or cold conditions and requires the physical ability to stand for the entire shift, use hands for various tasks, ascend stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Team members must occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close, distant, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
