Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Assembler - Fender, where your mechanical skills and attention to detail will be essential in creating high-quality, precision-fabricated components. Your expertise will directly contribute to our success and quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals eager to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to craftsmanship and excellence. Quarter Fender Assembler Responsible for setting up and assembling fenders using applicable fixtures, materials, and components to meet customer demand and production schedule. Machinery Set Up, Operation, and Troubleshooting Read specifications or follow verbal instructions. Lay out, set up, and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines such as shears, brake presses, saws, curving rolls, and other hand tools to cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, and drill, or otherwise shape and form steel stock into parts or products. Use various measuring tools to check the product for the correct shape, dimensions, and other specifications. Ensure brake presses, shears, and curving rolls are set up appropriately for long and short-run orders. Perform final overall quality check of own work before releasing part Troubleshoot production machinery to keep the shift running by performing minor corrections or repairs. Required Skills and Abilities High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Problem-solving skills to determine quality fit, form & function Must be able to speak, read, and write English Must be able to do basic Math Quick learner and a good communicator Ability to work effectively in a team environment Able to lift, carry, and manipulate parts weighing up to 75 pounds Ability to use measuring equipment such as tape measures and digital calipers
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of high school and/or equivalent GED Strong mechanical aptitude Minimum of 1-year mechanical experience, to include the use of operating machinery
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
