Job Title:
Assembler Job Description The Assembler works as part of a small assembly team to perform high-level mechanical assembly, with a strong focus on hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This role involves interpreting blueprints, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and contributing to the efficient and accurate build of equipment and components. Responsibilities Perform high-level mechanical assembly of components and systems according to blueprints and work instructions. Work collaboratively with the assembly team to complete builds accurately and on schedule. Assemble, connect, and test hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues during the assembly process and assist in resolving them. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete precise assembly tasks. Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure correct assembly. Inspect assembled components for quality, accuracy, and proper operation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the assembly process. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress, issues, and improvement opportunities. Essential Skills Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how mechanical components work together. Hands-on experience working with hydraulic systems in an assembly, maintenance, or repair environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with mechanical assembly using hand and power tools. Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving mechanical and hydraulic issues. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality and accurate assembly work. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a production or assembly environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Automotive technician or automotive repair experience. Experience working with pneumatic systems. Experience in troubleshooting complex mechanical systems. Demonstrated ability to learn new mechanical systems and assembly processes quickly. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a clean, organized assembly facility focused on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic builds. You work closely with a small team, using standard hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment while following blueprints and technical drawings. The environment emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, with a layout designed to support efficient assembly workflows. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mason, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
