Assembler (1st Shift) ($18.50/hr.) Job Description This Assembler role focuses on building spray booth units and related sub-assemblies in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. You will use hand and power tools to assemble components, perform basic quality checks, and help prepare finished products for shipment while working closely with a supportive team and receiving hands-on training across multiple assembly stations. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. Apply Today! Responsibilities Assemble spray booth units using hand and power tools in accordance with standard procedures. Build small sub-assemblies and progressively move to larger, more complex assemblies over time. Install frames and attach large plastic panels, approximately 4 ft. by 6 ft., ensuring secure and accurate fit. Perform detailed assembly tasks such as fitting and aligning small components to meet quality standards. Follow written work instructions and assembly guides, learning most processes on the job. Conduct final inspections on completed units to verify proper functionality, including checking nozzles and component installation. Perform quality checks and basic functional testing on completed assemblies to ensure they meet specifications. Assist with packing completed booths into large shipping units and help prepare products for shipment. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively, following all safety guidelines and best practices. Lift and move components and materials, including items up to approximately 35-50 lbs, as part of daily tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and support cross-training at different assembly stations. Participate in hands-on training with a team member to learn new assembly processes and stations. Perform repetitive tasks with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail. Essential Skills Previous experience using hand tools and power tools in an assembly, mechanical, or manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably in a physically active role. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how parts fit and function together. Experience in mechanical assembly or prior manufacturing assembly work preferred. Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and assembly guides. Capacity to learn new assembly processes quickly through on-the-job training. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and consistency. Strong attention to detail for performing quality checks and basic functional testing. Comfort using basic measuring tools or references as needed for assembly work. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with coworkers. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with blueprints or assembly drawings is a plus. Experience as an assembler, mechanic, or similar hands-on technical role is beneficial. Familiarity with production or manufacturing environments and standard operating procedures. Comfort working with larger plastic panels and frames in a structured assembly process. Willingness to cross-train on multiple assembly stations and expand skills over time. Work Environment The role is based in a very clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility dedicated to advanced beauty, skincare, and spray technology products. The assembly team is tight-knit and currently around two dozen people, offering a collaborative environment where you work side by side with teammates and receive hands-on training at various stations. You will regularly use hand and power tools, work with frames, large plastic panels, and spray booth components, and help prepare units for shipment. The environment may have a light odor similar to over-the-counter self-tanning creams or lotions. Work hours follow a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., supporting a stable routine. The facility emphasizes organization, cleanliness, and safety, with clear work instructions and processes, and offers a professional yet approachable atmosphere where innovation, quality, and employee appreciation are central to daily operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Macedonia, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
