Job Description

Industrial Assembly Technician / Refractory Laborer We are seeking hardworking, motivated individuals to join our growing manufacturing and field service team. This position involves a wide variety of hands-on industrial work including fabrication, equipment assembly, refractory installation and repair, mechanical work, and field service support. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk position. Candidates must be comfortable working with their hands in a fast-paced industrial environment. Some days will involve building and assembling equipment in the shop, while other days may require working inside industrial vessels or tight spaces wearing full PPE. Job Duties Assemble industrial equipment and components Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, drills, saws, and measuring tools Assist with fabrication and shop projects Install, remove, and repair refractory materials Work in confined spaces and industrial environments when required Read basic drawings and follow work instructions Load/unload materials and equipment Assist field crews at customer job sites Maintain clean and safe work areas Follow all company and customer safety requirements Work Environment Industrial shop and field environments Some work performed on hands and knees in tight spaces Exposure to heat, dust, dirt, and heavy industrial conditions PPE required including respirators, Tyvek suits, gloves, hard hats, safety glasses, harnesses, etc. Overtime and travel may be required depending on workload Requirements Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to use basic hand and power tools Ability to lift 50+ lbs Comfortable with physically demanding work Ability to climb, crawl, kneel, and work in confined spaces Valid driver's license preferred Welding, fabrication, refractory, industrial maintenance, or construction experience is a plus Must have reliable transportation and good attendance Preferred Experience Industrial construction Refractory work Welding/fabrication Mechanical assembly Manufacturing/shop experience Shutdown/outage work Benefits Competitive pay Overtime opportunities Advancement opportunities Travel/per diem opportunities when applicable
