This role involves assembling a variety of mechanical and electromechanical components, ranging from small parts to larger equipment systems. Key Responsibilities Perform assembly tasks on mechanical and electromechanical components, including both small-scale parts and large equipment such as engines, transmissions, generators (diesel and natural gas), PTO drive systems, enclosures, and associated components. Execute assembly procedures such as aligning, fitting, installing, adjusting, and functionally testing components and systems. Maintain adherence to workplace safety protocols and actively contribute to a safe working environment. Support quality assurance initiatives and participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and product standards. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs when necessary. Follow technical documentation, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure accurate and efficient assembly. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2-10 years of relevant mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and written instructions. Familiarity with standard hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as tape measures, rulers, and squares. Basic knowledge of calibration tools, including torque wrenches. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision. Basic computer literacy, including the ability to navigate systems and input data. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities. Capability to perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, and lifting throughout the workday.
