By leveraging your expertise in blueprint interpretation and mechanical fabrication, you will ensure that every component meets rigorous quality standards to drive operational excellence. Responsibilities Interpret complex P&ID drawings and technical blueprints to guide the accurate assembly of piping and instrumentation systems. Execute precise tube and pipe fitting, utilizing manual bending techniques to achieve exact specifications. Perform high-accuracy measurements using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to maintain strict tolerances within 1/16 of an inch. Operate heavy machinery, including sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes, to safely manage materials and components. Utilize manual grinders and threading equipment to prepare materials for final installation. Optimize production workflows by managing individual tasks to meet established manufacturing schedules with minimal oversight. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in pipe and tube bending, fitting, and mechanical assembly. Demonstrated ability to read and translate technical schematics and P&ID diagrams. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. Valid certification or documented experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes. Preferred Skills Advanced knowledge of industrial valves, switches, and specialized pipe fittings. Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial fabrication environment. Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
