Positions available immediately for full-time, day shift employment. Mechanical and hydraulic systems experience is beneficial. Rears Manufacturing Company is a manufacturer of agricultural equipment with national distribution through dealerships and direct customer sales. Rears industrial campus is conveniently located for communities in the Eugene-Springfield area.

a successful candidate will have experience with the Job Duties listed below and fulfill the list of Qualifications required for employment consideration. Job Duties Read and interpret equipment build bill of materials and technical drawings Follow electrical and plumbing schematics Document component substitutions and weights/measures for serialized equipment Maintain component stock levels: issue purchase and production order requests Maintain/update quality control check lists Work with product assembly team to implement new systems and processes Maintain housekeeping and organization for efficient production Palletize production kits of equipment components Communicate with engineering staff Repair and troubleshoot warranty returns and equipment service orders Operate material handling devices such as overhead crane Lift and carry equipment components, up to 60 lbs.; stoop, climb, and reach to assemble and quality check equipment Attention to detail and safety for every job: set-up, execution, and quality check Job Qualifications Experience. Equipment Maintenance or Manufacturing experience desirable Mechanical and Hydraulic Systems experience beneficial Controls and Instrumentation experience beneficial Quality Inspection experience beneficial Ability to read technical production prints Proficient with measuring tools and able to maintain tolerances Able to lift/carry/manipulate structural steel components, drive train components, axle assemblies. Applicants must have the dexterity to stoop, climb, and reach to access assemblies. Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production work environment Effective oral and written communication skills

Work Schedule and Compensation Schedule:

8 hour shifts, M-F. Shift start time 6AM. Overtime is often needed during the months of February - May.
