Job Description

Description:
The Fab Pad Assembler is responsible for assembling, fitting, and finishing foam cushions, fabricated pads, and related components used in ECS composite cases and enclosures. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions and drawings, and a commitment to producing quality products in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements:
Assemble foam cushions, fabricated pads, and related components according to work orders, drawings, and specifications. Measure, cut, trim, and fit materials to required dimensions and tolerances. Apply adhesives and bonding materials as required. Install hardware, inserts, and other components as specified. Inspect materials and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy. Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation. Maintain production records and accurately report completed work. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, and other production machinery. Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety standards. Communicate material shortages, quality concerns, or production issues to supervision. Assist in other production areas as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and quality. Basic computer skills required. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with safety procedures and manufacturing best practices. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds occasionally. Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, adhesives, and production equipment.
