Hose Assembler role in Carlisle PA on 1st shift! Job Description This role combines forklift operation with hands-on assembly of industrial and hydraulic hose products in a warehouse and production environment. You will assemble, test, and inspect hoses and couplings, handle materials using forklifts and pallet jacks, and support daily production goals as part of a small, team-oriented operation. Responsibilities Assemble industrial and hydraulic hoses and couplings using presses, crimpers, and hand tools in accordance with written work orders in English. Test fire hose and other hose assemblies following established procedures and quality standards. Read and follow detailed work instructions and work orders written in English to complete each job accurately. Inspect finished products for quality issues, defects, or irregularities and promptly report any concerns to a supervisor. Accurately count, record, and document daily production output for each job and maintain required production records. Meet or exceed daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards. Rotate through all assigned production and assembly jobs as needed to support workflow and cross-training. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior industrial, manufacturing, or hose assembly experience is a plus. Previous assembly experience is preferred, especially in a production or warehouse setting. Forklift experience, including sit-down forklift, reach truck, or order picker, is preferred. Experience with inventory, receiving, and picking processes is beneficial. Familiarity with RF scanners for picking and inventory tasks is a plus. General labor and material handling experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlisle, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
