Hiring Shop Production Assemblers in Harrisburg, PA! Job Description This role focuses on assembling pre-hung interior and exterior fiberglass doors in a fast-paced shop environment. You will use hand tools, follow precise measurements, and work with a high level of attention to detail to ensure each door unit meets quality standards. The position requires consistent physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for most of the shift. Responsibilities Assemble pre-hung interior and exterior fiberglass doors according to specifications and work orders. Cut, fit, and assemble door units using hand tools and measuring devices. Read and interpret tape measurements accurately to ensure precise cuts and proper fit. Inspect finished door units for accuracy, quality, and overall workmanship before they move to the next stage. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace throughout the shift. Handle general labor tasks in the warehouse as needed to support production flow. Follow all safety procedures and use tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Lift, move, and position materials and door components weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the day. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills Demonstrated experience using hand tools in a shop, warehouse, carpentry, construction, or building materials environment. Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately. Capability to cut, fit, and assemble materials with attention to detail. Comfort working in a fast-paced shop or warehouse environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and organization in the workspace. Reliability and punctuality for early morning shifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in carpentry, construction, or the building materials industry. Experience with general labor tasks in a warehouse or shop setting. Comfort working with fiberglass door components. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Why Work Here?
