Manufacturing Assembly Technician - 1st

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM $18.47p/hr Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join our 1st shift production team. This role is responsible for assembling, packaging, and labeling products while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and productivity. The ideal candidate has hands‑on assembly experience, is comfortable using mechanical and power tools, and can read assembly drawings and measurements accurately. Key Responsibilities Assemble, package, and label products according to work instructions and quality standards Operate hand and power tools including impact wrench, drill, mallet, screwdrivers, and pneumatic rivet gun Read and interpret assembly drawings, including dimensions, parts lists, assembly instructions, and CTQs Maintain consistent productivity levels under supervision Produce quality finished goods with minimal defects or rework Maintain basic product knowledge, including wheels, model numbers, bearings, nuts, and bolts Keep assembly jigs, tools, and equipment in good working condition Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Notify the Production Supervisor of equipment issues, low inventory, or quality concerns Follow all safety requirements, including wearing required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, etc.) Perform additional duties as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred Ability to read a tape measure in both fractions and decimals Experience using mechanical and power tools Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jessup, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.47 - $18.47/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
