Position Overview:
Under general supervision, uses hand tools and electric tools to mount parts, fabricate sheet metal enclosures, assemble power stacks and install power wire and/or wire harness for various products according to job shop instructions and by following the company's workmanship standards. Possess the basic understanding of measuring to 1/32nd of an inch with a temp measurer, torque tolerance and hardware assembly. Available to complete other duties as assigned. This role involves cross-training opportunities in other departments to enhance skills and support team needs.
Minimum Qualifications :
High School Degree or equivalent 0-2 years' demonstrated fabrication, sheet metal, carpentry or related experience. Possess the basic understanding of measuring, torque tolerance and hardware assembly. Ability to work independently to complete milestones. Demonstrated ability to meet quality and productivity standards within team. Good time-management skills and ability to set priorities. Availability and willingness to work hours as needed to meet critical deadlines. Strong commitment to quality, safety, customer service and teamwork. Complete other duties as assigned.
