No soldering experience: $21/ hour Soldering experience: $23/ hour
About This Role:
The Manufacturing Technician I work onsite in Providence, RI to support medical device manufacturing by performing mechanical and electro/mechanical assembly, inspections, and documentation activities in a regulated environment. This entry level role works closely with Manufacturing Engineers and senior technicians to ensure products are built accurately, safely, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly and sub assembly tasks following verbal and written work instructions
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and ISO requirements
  • Perform visual, in process, and final inspections with guidance from senior staff
  • Assist with maintaining operating records, test results, and medical device assembly documentation
  • Update and maintain bills of material and other manufacturing documentation as required
  • Contribute to inventory control and material handling procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and device quality
  • Escalate issues and concerns to Team Leads or Supervisors as appropriate
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to support lean manufacturing processes
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-1 year of relevant manufacturing or assembly experience (or equivalent combination of education and training)
  • Basic knowledge of assembly techniques, materials, tools, and equipment
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
  • Ability to multitask and perform a wide range of activities
  • Ability to solder or willingness to learn
  • Ability to work onsite in Providence, RI in a manufacturing environment (office-based role)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in medical devices, regulated manufacturing, or cleanroom environments
  • Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or regulated quality systems
  • Experience working with inventory systems or manufacturing documentation #CNX100
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
