Job Title:

Assembler Job Description As an assembler, you will be responsible for assembling frames, sub-assemblies, cooling systems, and enclosure components using hand and power tools. You will install mechanical hardware, busbars, brackets, cable trays, and structural components in accordance with engineering drawings and build instructions. The role involves performing alignment of mechanical parts, following electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, and installing electrical components. You will also document results and communicate any issues to engineering or project leads, and conduct in-process quality inspections to ensure all standards are met. Responsibilities Assemble, modify, rework, and reassemble production components using drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and verbal instructions. Perform repetitive and skilled assembly operations to meet quality and production standards. Conduct basic quality checks and identify defects or non-conformances. Use hand and power tools, including power screwdrivers, wire strippers, and crimpers. Route, cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires and harnesses. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately. Conduct in-process quality inspections to ensure assembly meets all standards. Work off a tablet to find job orders and lift up to 50 lbs. Essential Skills Experience in assembly, both mechanical and electrical. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. Skilled in using hand and power tools. Ability to perform electrical wiring and crimping. Experience with troubleshooting and panel wiring. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with assembly line and work instructions. Knowledge in soldering. Experience in control panel and repair work. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simpsonville, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
