Assembler-Night Shift

Quanex is looking for an Assembler-Night Shift to join our team located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This position performs routine assembly in a climate-controlled production environment. The parts produced in our facility include window balances, handle sets, and locks.

Typical Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am. We Offer You! What Success Looks Like:

Understand and follow written, visual, and verbal instructions Operate a computer to fulfill customer orders Utilize machines and other equipment throughout the assembly process Ability to lift and move 35 pounds Perform assembly tasks while meeting production standards Responsible for adhering to all safety rules and quality standards Maintain a good attendance record Cross train in other departments as necessary Perform other duties as assigned

Ability to use a computer Ability to communicate with others Ability to find and correct safety hazards Ability to alternate stand for 10-hour shift The hourly rate of pay for this position $17.00 per hour plus $1.25/hour for shift premium for night shift.
