Job Description
Job Summary Join a dynamic manufacturing team as a 2nd Shift Assembler, where your mechanical skills and attention to detail will drive the production of high-quality products. As a key contributor on the 4PM-2:30AM shift, you will be instrumental in maintaining efficient assembly processes of metal components. Responsibilities Assemble metal components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as tape measures. Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process, verifying dimensions with precision tools and ensuring adherence to specifications. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following safety protocols and proper tool storage procedures. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly workflows. Experience Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with reading measuring instruments such as tape measures. Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication. Experience working with manufacturing equipment or in a fabrication setting will enhance your success in this role. Available shift is 10 hours, 4PM-2:30AM, Monday-Thursday. Starting Assembler pay is $16.74 with pay increase opportunities. Assembly position is full time, temp to hire. Manufacturing, Production, Machine Operator or related experience preferred but not required for motivated individuals that can work at a steady pace, can stand, bend, lift up to 50lbs as needed for a 10 hour shift in a non- air-conditioned facility. Must have good basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure and work the required shift hours with excellent attendance.
