Assembly Technician Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our production team. This position is responsible for assembling a variety of products according to customer specifications, work instructions, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail are critical to success. Assemble products and components according to work instructions, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Identify and select the correct materials, components, hardware, and decals required for each assembly. Verify that all parts and materials match customer orders before and during assembly. Follow established quality standards to ensure products are assembled correctly and meet customer expectations. Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, functionality, appearance, and completeness. Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation using basic computer systems. Communicate production issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors promptly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality and accuracy. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Assist with other production and assembly-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic computer skills, including data entry and navigation of production software. Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required.
Work Environment:
Work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday. Manual dexterity required for handling small components and assembly tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
