Sign Fabricator Level 1

Summary:

Highpoint Signs & Apparel is a growing and fast-paced company providing high-quality promotional products and signage solutions to clients on a local, regional, and national scale. We are currently seeking a Sign Fabricator Level 1 to join our team. This entry-level role is a vital support position within our electrical signage operations and offers hands-on experience with real growth potential. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player who is eager to learn, takes direction well, and thrives in a collaborative and dynamic shop environment. You'll work closely with senior fabricators, installation technicians, and the shop foreman to help build and prepare signage projects for production and installation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the daily fabrication of signs using basic hand and power tools Assemble and connect low-voltage electrical components Work collaboratively with the team to build and manufacture signage Perform shop work in varying temperatures (hot in summer, cold in winter) Follow production checklists to ensure signage packages are ready for installation Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints Maintain cleanliness of the yard and shop areas, including sweeping and organizing Make local part/material runs when required Sand and prep signage components for paint Learn paint systems and proper application techniques Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing materials Take on various shop tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Ability to read a measuring tape accurately Experience using basic hand tools and power tools Strong attention to detail and safety Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly Comfortable standing, bending, and working with your hands throughout the day

Requirements:

Valid Texas Driver's License with no restrictions Ability to pass a drug screening Basic knowledge and experience with power tools Preferred (but not required)

Experience:
