  • As a Fabrication Technician/Installer for Atlas Copco's Compressor Technique division (Airmac), your primary responsibility will be to perform fabrication and installation of components to produce a working process into a self-contained unit per Customer specifications.
You will represent our brand's commitment to quality and reliability, collaborating closely with both internal teams and clients to address their needs effectively. Roles and Responsibilities Install Components into designated locations, and then connecting units via Piping, Tubing and electrically in accordance with the plan drawings. Troubleshoot any design errors and share them with Management and drafter to resolve any issues. Display the ability to understand drawings and purpose for layout, proper Piping and tubing specifications and the ability to cut and thread proper lengths to complete tasks as designed. Light electrical knowledge on proper landing and running of wire. Willingness to learn welding. Display the ability to manage time productively and with a sense of urgency. Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. To succeed, you will need Qualifications Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in an industrial environment with high temperatures. Used to working with your tools in manual repairs for construction. Forklift and/or welding experience is a plus. Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Working knowledge of Grinders, Saws, and threaders is useful. Skills
  • Able to work independently with strong self-management and professionalism.
Able to complete work within assigned deadlines. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, and lift 100 lbs. occasionally, and work in an industrial environment including extremes in temperature with continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling. The successful candidate will also be able to work with newer technicians, apprentices and interns to teach basics skills and knowledge and assist in training other team members.
