06/01/2026 Job Summary The Panel Assembler II and III is responsible for independently assembling complex panel assembly components, leading build activities, and ensuring high-quality production of steel frameworks, shelters, and telecom infrastructure systems. This position plays a key role in troubleshooting, process improvement, and coordination with engineering and production teams. Key Responsibilities Independently assemble complex structural steel frameworks, enclosures, and telecom shelter components Interpret and execute work from detailed blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications Lead and support lower-level assemblers (Level I & II) with guidance, training, and troubleshooting Perform advanced fitting, alignment, and installation of structural components to tight tolerances Modify, adjust, and fabricate components as needed to meet design requirements Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely and accurate builds Identify and resolve assembly issues, material discrepancies, and design challenges Conduct final quality inspections and ensure compliance with company and customer standards Maintain accurate production records and documentation in ERP systems Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and PPE requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred 3+ years of experience in structural steel assembly, fabrication, or related field Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics Experience in steel fabrication, welding prep, and structural assembly techniques Prior experience in a lead or senior assembly role preferred Skills & Abilities Advanced mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments Ability to troubleshoot structural and assembly issues independently Strong understanding of structural integrity and build sequencing Effective communication and leadership skills Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and efficiency Physical Requirements Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly Prolonged standing, bending, and repetitive motion Ability to work in a manufacturing or shop environment Work Environment Manufacturing/production facility with structural steel and telecom equipment Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures PPE required at all timesSimilar remote jobs
