Description:

Stride Staffing is partnering with a well-established client located in the Desoto area that manufactures windows and doors. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assemblers to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble windows and doors according to company specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with hand and power tools, has strong attention to detail, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assemble window and door components using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment. Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and assembly instructions. Install hardware, glass, weather stripping, locks, hinges, and other components as required. Measure materials and verify dimensions to ensure products meet quality standards. Inspect finished products for defects and perform quality checks throughout the assembly process. Safely operate machinery and maintain a clean and organized work area. Package completed products for shipment and assist with material handling when needed. Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and production guidelines. Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals. Report equipment malfunctions or quality concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other basic shop equipment. Ability to read measurements accurately and follow written instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced manufacturing facility. Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe footwear.
