Primary duties involve threaded assembling but also include operating fabrication equipment to include but not limited to grinders, saws, drills, power tools, hand tools and crimple machines. Works integrally with other employees and independently.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Ability to efficiently operate various hand and power tools. Ability to read Assembly blueprints is a plus. Assemble and install a variety of metal including tubes and fittings. Assists in performing and responding to work orders associated with building equipment. Able to lift up to 50lbs. Able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet required time on jobs. Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction; take responsibility for own actions; keep commitments and complete tasks on time. Must be able to follow all EHSS policies and procedures. Must be punctual and possess a strong work ethic. Will be required to work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Will be required to keep shop and work area clean by performing daily housekeeping duties. Must have some understanding of painting, pipe fitting, and be mechanically inclined. Must be able to follow all basic skills, responsibilities and accountabilities Will train qualified person in specific tasks
