This role supports production goals by ensuring products are assembled accurately, safely, and in compliance with company procedures and applicable regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Assembly & Production Assemble components and products using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and equipment according to work instructions and drawings Follow established assembly sequences, requirements, and quality checkpoints Meet daily production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards Quality & Documentation Perform basic visual inspections to ensure parts meet specifications Accurately complete production records, travelers, and checklists Identify and report nonconforming parts, tooling issues, or process deviations Safety & Compliance Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards Adhere to manufacturing, quality, and regulatory procedures Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas (5S practices) Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Strong attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication Ability to read and follow written work instructions and basic drawings Manual dexterity and ability to work with small or precision components Ability to stand, sit, or perform repetitive tasks for extended periods Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of experience in manufacturing or assembly Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, etc.) Familiarity with mechanical fasteners, electrical assemblies, and basic hand/power tools Experience with quality systems such as ISO 9001 or AS9100 Work Environment This role is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment and may require standing, lifting, repetitive motion, and use of hand and power tools. The position may require working with controlled materials or components and adherence to strict quality and safety requirements.
