Job Description

About CoatLab CoatLab is a rapidly growing automotive restyling company specializing in Paint Protection Film (PPF), vinyl wraps, ceramic coatings, window tint, and vehicle customization. As we continue to expand, we are introducing protective film solutions for residential and commercial applications, including countertops, appliances, and other high-value surfaces. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Contract PPF Installer to work on a per-project basis. This is an independent contractor position, ideal for installers looking to supplement their current workload or partner with a growing company. Projects may include both automotive PPF installations and residential/commercial surface protection film installations, such as: Vehicles (full-body, partial-front, windshield protection film) Marble countertops Granite countertops Kitchen appliances Cabinets and high-touch surfaces Other residential and commercial applications Responsibilities Install Paint Protection Film to CoatLab quality standards. Properly prepare and clean surfaces before installation. Perform accurate film application, trimming, and finishing. Maintain professionalism when interacting with customers. Take pride in delivering high-quality, bubble-free installations. Requirements Previous PPF installation experience preferred. Experience with vinyl wraps, architectural films, window tint, or graphics is a plus. Reliable transportation. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Professional communication and appearance. Compensation Independent Contractor (1099) Position Pay is per completed job, not hourly or salaried. Compensation varies based on project size and complexity. Consistent opportunities available for qualified installers. Flexible scheduling.
