Calls will come from a 414 area code. Position Overview Are you looking for a stable, first-shift career in a high-tech manufacturing environment? We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in Irving. In this role, you will be responsible for building, testing, and calibrating high-quality mechanical and electrical components. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who wants to work in a regulated, quality-driven facility with a great Monday-through-Friday schedule.
What You'll Be Doing:
Precision Assembly:
Build instruments and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures.
Testing & Calibration:
Perform critical verification and testing to ensure every product is accurate and reliable.
Quality Inspection:
Inspect finished units to ensure they meet strict FDA and ISO quality standards .
Documentation:
Accurately track material usage, traceability, and production work in accordance with cGMP requirements.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve assembly issues, collaborating with engineering and quality teams to maintain production flow.
Compliance:
Follow all SOPs and Quality Management System (QMS) procedures to ensure safety and excellence.
Site Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready workstation.
What We're Looking For:
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
Tool Proficiency:
Skilled with screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, and measuring devices.
Physical Ability:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more as needed throughout the shift. Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA, ISO, or GMP) is a huge plus.
Core Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and high attention to detail.
Reliability:
A track record of excellent attendance and a "quality-first" mindset.
