Job Description

Test Technician
  • The Pay Rate is $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
  • The job location is in Plano, Texas 75074
  • Monday thru
Friday:
7:00 am to 3:30 pm
  • Temp to Perm Requires 1-2 years test knowledge of electronics and mechanical assembly knowledge.
Ability to use hand tools for disassembly and assembly. 1-2 years' experience. Job Summary The Test Technician is responsible for testing electronic products and circuit boards to ensure they are working properly before they are shipped to customers. Responsibilities Test electronic products, circuit boards (PCBs), and cable assemblies. Use testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other electronic test tools. Troubleshoot and identify product failures. Read and follow work instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings. Record test results and document any issues found. Assist Engineering with new product testing and process improvements. Load software or firmware and perform product calibrations when required. Help maintain test equipment and workstations. Follow ESD, quality, and safety procedures at all times. Requirements 1-2 years of electronics testing or electronics manufacturing experience preferred. Basic understanding of electronic components and circuit boards. Ability to read schematics and assembly instructions. Experience using electronic test equipment such as meters and scopes. Ability to use hand tools for assembly and disassembly. Basic soldering experience is a plus. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
