Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Cabinet Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling custom cabinets, ensuring precise craftsmanship, and adhering to project specifications. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality cabinetry solutions for residential, commercial, and restoration projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of tools and materials, supporting the creation of functional and aesthetically pleasing cabinetry that meets client expectations. Responsibilities Assemble cabinets and related components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and project plans. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and installation. Measure, cut, shape, and fit wood, metal, or composite materials with precision for optimal fit and finish. Install fixtures such as doors, drawers, shelves, hardware, and trim to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal. Perform heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely while maintaining proper posture and safety protocols. Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, restoration jobs, or manufacturing tasks involving cabinetry fabrication or installation. Experience Proven experience in cabinet assembly or related carpentry fields such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, or woodworking. Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic diagrams. Hands-on experience with hand tools (e.g., saws, drills), power tools (e.g., sanders, routers), and CNC machinery is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction site procedures including heavy lifting techniques, safety standards, and material handling. Background in restoration industry work such as water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus. Prior experience in manufacturing environments involving fixture installation or metal stud framing is beneficial. Ability to perform tasks requiring precision in tile laying, flooring installation, siding work, or masonry is advantageous.
