Specialty Fabricator-Cabinetry and Millwork Crafted to Measure Midvale, UT Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Fabrication Teamwork Heavy lifting Cabinet maker experience Tape measure proficiency Attention to detail Millwork Blueprint reading Shop-based carpentry Woodworking Full Job Description We are looking to hire a Custom Fabricator, they are responsible for building, assembling, and finishing high-quality custom cabinetry and related wood products according to design specifications. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work safely with a variety of woodworking tools and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret drawings, blueprints, and design specifications to fabricate custom cabinets and components. Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinet parts with precision. Operate woodworking machinery such as table saws, routers, planers equipment safely and efficiently. Select and prepare materials, including wood, laminates, veneers, and hardware. Maintain quality control standards and ensure all work meets customer specifications. Troubleshoot fabrication issues and propose solutions. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Collaborate with other team members, including designers, installers, and shop staff, to ensure timely project completion. Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or custom furniture fabrication. Strong understanding of wood types, joinery methods, and finishing techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. Strong physical stamina and dexterity. Team player with good communication skills. Knowledge of safety protocols in a workshop environment. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on fabrication experience in cabinetry or woodworking. Working Conditions Standing for extended periods, lifting heavy materials, and working with loud machinery. Exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals associated with woodworking and finishing. Must follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment, hardware and fabrication methods - deep knowledge of various commercial woodworking machines and hand tools. Willingness to work overtime when needed Ability to lift/move up to 100lbs Drug Free work environment
