Welding Fabricator

WhiteClouds is looking for an experienced Welding Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position responsible for fabricating and welding custom projects from blueprints and drawings. We primarily work with aluminum and build unique, one-of-a-kind projects, so every day brings something different. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing quality work, works well independently, and enjoys solving fabrication challenges.

Schedule:

Full-time Monday - Friday Limited overtime

Weeks PTO Per Year What You'll Do:

Perform MIG welding, primarily on aluminum Fabricate and assemble custom components and structures from blueprints and drawings Read and interpret shop drawings and work instructions Measure, cut, fit, and weld materials to specification Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met Work with team members and other departments to keep projects on schedule Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Assist with problem-solving and fabrication challenges as projects evolve

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong MIG welding experience Experience welding aluminum Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings Strong fabrication and layout skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with custom fabrication and one-off projects Experience welding galvannealed steel and mild steel Experience operating CNC plasma tables Forklift experience Experience in a manufacturing or job-shop environment
