Job Description

Assembly Technician We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for assembling, testing, and preparing complex power electronics equipment. Key Responsibilities; Perform soldering, wiring, and component installation using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Maintain accurate assembly documentation and records including work orders, test reports, and serial number tracking Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues in collaboration with engineering and quality teams Manage inventory of components and materials and communicate supply needs to procurement Support packaging and preparation of units for shipment to ensure safe delivery.
Required Skillsets Technical Assembly:
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments (calipers, multimeters, etc.)
Electrical Knowledge:
Familiarity with soldering techniques, electrical assembly, and ability to work safely with high-voltage equipment
Technical Reading:
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Quality Focus:
Strong attention to detail with a quality-oriented mindset
Safety Compliance:
Knowledge of electrical safety protocols, ESD (electrostatic discharge) procedures, and workplace safety standards
Testing & Troubleshooting:
Ability to conduct functional testing and diagnose assembly issues
Documentation:
Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and work order documentation
Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify and resolve assembly challenges independently or collaboratively
Mathematical Skills:
Basic competency in measurements, calculations, and technical specifications
Teamwork & Communication:
Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Physical Capability:
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform precise manual work
Pay:
From $30.00 per hour
