Job Description

Are you detail-oriented, skilled with your hands, and passionate about quality? We are seeking a Medical Device Assembler to join our team in a cleanroom environment. This role involves assembling medical devices with precision and care, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with 1-2 years of medical device assembly or ISO-certified assembly experience. In lieu of a high school diploma, 2-3 years of relevant experience is required.
Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, or in person with supervisors, leads, and team members. Proficiency in understanding verbal and written work instructions. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Fine motor skills, dexterity, and hand-eye coordination for working with small parts and subassemblies. Basic MS Windows skills and ability to use site-specific PC programs (training provided).
Preferred Knowledge:
Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities:
Assemble medical devices across multiple product lines, meeting or exceeding production standards. Maintain accurate records of manufacturing operations, including Device History Records and Data Sheets. Follow cleanroom practices and procedures to ensure product quality. Adapt to changes in procedures and learn new processes as needed. Proactively communicate material shortages and other issues to leads or supervisors. Assist in training procedures and cross-train on various product lines as required. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety and housekeeping guidelines. Participate in Shared Leadership activities, such as Kanban Management, Calibration, and Metrics Board Maintenance. Work overtime and varying shifts as needed, maintaining acceptable attendance standards.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to perform repetitive tasks according to set procedures and pace. Operate manufacturing and measurement equipment (e.g., microscopes, test equipment, ultrasonic welders, soldering irons, calipers, pressure gauges, rulers) following appropriate training. Maintain confidentiality of documents and processes.
