DOE SUMMARY:

We are looking for Assembly Technicians at all levels of experience for a hands-on work environment performing a variety of tasks to support the engineering, manufacturing and production teams. Daily responsibilities may include production assembly, engineering assembly, receiving support, packaging and shipping. Previous experience with electromechanical assembly, ESD sensitive hardware, or a clean room environment is encouraged. The Assembly Technician reports to the Technician Lead.

WHAT YOU WILL

DOPerforms mechanical assembly according to verbal and written instructions including fastening, bonding, and rivetingSupports engineering testing, manufacturing effortsReads and understands blueprints, schematics and technical diagramsUses chemicals, adhesives, and solvents as requiredWorks with the ERP (Epicor) system to track hardware, and ensure jobs are completed on timeAssists with test setup and execution when neededAssists with packaging and shipping of hardware and equipmentObserves safety and security procedures, reports potentially unsafe conditions

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required Education:

High School diploma

Required Experience:

Experience with basic hand and power tools, strong mechanical aptitudePossesses a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentTypically possesses: >2 years experience in aerospace, defense experience, or manufacturing environmentsDemonstrates an exceptional work ethic, attitude and willingness to learnPhysical requirements of this position include moderate physical and repetitious work, standing for extended periods of time, the use of stairs and occasional heavy liftingMust have a valid drivers licenseMust be a U.S. CitizenNICE TO HAVEExperience working with FODPrevious experience with ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirementsExperience working in a high-paced, challenging work environment with high attention to detail work
