Job Description

Truss Assembler Green Bay, WI | On-site | Contract-to-Hire | $19 - $20/hr About the Role We are hiring Truss Assemblers to support the production of structural building components in a manufacturing environment. In this hands-on role, you will assemble trusses using lumber, metal plates, and tools while following safety and quality standards. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to move into a long-term position based on performance and business needs. You will work alongside a team that values safety, reliability, and consistent production. Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out lumber, plates, and materials for truss assembly
  • Assemble truss components following instructions and shop drawings
  • Read and measure accurately using a tape measure
  • Use hand tools such as hammers and learn to operate basic production equipment
  • Load, stack, and band finished trusses on carts or pallets
  • Assist with receiving, staging, and moving materials
  • Support production flow by assisting other work areas as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements Requirements
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately (required)
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including in cold weather (required)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Comfort working in a physically demanding, noisy, and dusty environment
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely as part of a team
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check before starting
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.75 per hour
