Position Summary Perform all duties necessary to the efficient operation of all equipment in the plant. Operate and maintain plant equipment in accordance with standard work and building procedures. Responsibilities Continue to keep current in skills through training, classes and on the job training Must be capable of setting-up and operating Monoblock Assembly Cell equipment Automated Bending (804, 805, 806, 807, 808) Manual Bending (113, 313, 1220, and 214) Crimping (Rousselle crimpers 928, 933, and 139) Flaring (243) Packing Able to interact with Production and Inventory Control (P&IC), Engineering, Quality, Cell Leader, Value Stream Team Leader and other plant operations at all times. Must be capable of conducting and evaluating destructive testing along with visual checks so necessary adjustments to the set-up can be made to produce a quality part. Be able to identify, analyze, and evaluate machine and material problems Able to make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment and machines when necessary, including effectively trouble shooting equipment issues Actively participate in department team projects and activities Assist the department supervisor with continuous improvement efforts Other duties may be assigned at a later time Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures in a manner that eliminates risk to health and the environment. Notify leadership of unsafe conditions or practices unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk. Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to leadership immediately.
