US-Waukesha 2 Final Assembler Equiliem medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) United States, Wisconsin, Waukesha Jun 15, 2026 Job Summary The Final Assembler is responsible for assembling and installing exterior equipment and components for substation and three-phase pad-mounted transformers. This role involves mounting and wiring control boxes, terminals, cubicles, arresters, and related accessories according to drawings, schematics, bills of material, and established assembly procedures. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and a commitment to maintaining organized, high-quality workmanship. Job Responsibilities Assemble and install exterior equipment including fuses, controls, control boxes, terminals, cubicles, compartments, arresters, and related components on transformers. Locate and assemble control boxes and conduit to tank exteriors according to drawings, schematics, or established procedures. Wire controls to accessories and assemble control panels in accordance with bills of material and technical specifications. Perform wiring inside cabinets for three-phase pad-mounted transformers and substations. Assemble control boxes containing multiple accessories, including terminal blocks, breakers, and related electrical components. Train, organize, and secure wiring to maintain required spacing, neat appearance, and accessibility for customers and service personnel. Mount and assemble air loadbreak switches, cubicles, doors, throat covers, hoods, fans, and barriers as specified. Install switch plates, identification plates, and instruction plates according to specifications. Attach connectors to bushing terminals and install lightning arresters as required. Interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate assembly and installation. Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all workplace safety procedures. Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution required. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Must reside within 50 miles of the Waukesha, Wisconsin facility. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work overtime as required. Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing or production environment. Education High School Diploma or GED required. Education in AC/DC fundamentals preferred. Work Experience One year of previous electrical experience preferred.
